So grab your favorite warm beverage, whether it’s a pumpkin spice latte or something stronger, and let’s look at what’s happening around this great city!

Get your tickets to the balloon museum

Ever the place for something special, there’s a unique exhibition coming to Pier 36. You’ll want to check it out and bring some of your closest friends. It’s part art installation, part socialization boost, and we can definitely dig our fingers into that! It’s an interactive affair, so be prepared to engage with this, have your minds opened, and feel a big smile emerge on your face. The Balloon Museum has made its way to NYC, and this is its launch in North America, so get ahead of the bustle before tickets sell out and, most of all, enjoy!

BAM Next Wave Festival

BAM is never short of great ideas to keep viewers witnessing superb sights. The Next Wave Festival is back and it’s your chance to experience something that has been around for the better part of four decades. In fact, Next Wave Festival has become a cornerstone of BAM, what it offers and what it’s about. It helps show what’s new in the landscape of performance art and brings it onto the stage. Make sure you secure your entrance here before the festival ends so you don’t miss out!

NY Comedy Festival

New York Road Runners (NYRR) Midnight Run

Of course, this list wouldn’t be complete without a way to close out the year or start the new one. In the typical fashion of the city that never sleeps and keeps itself in shape, NYRR  is hosting its annual midnight run. It starts a minute before the year ends and is a leisurely four-mile run through the beautiful Central Park. Some swag comes with registration, and there’s also an explosive firework-fueled start to the race as well to bring the new year in with a bang!
