Diploma in Painting obtained at the Academy of Fine Arts in Ravenna Italy in 1987. Subsequent experience of painting en plein air in various locations in Italy including Lake Como where the artist remained for long periods. Here the artist improved his experience in the study of the live subject and the study of the colors and lights offered by the landscape. In 1992 he emigrated to the United States where he began to exhibit oil paintings on canvas in galleries in the metropolitan area of Washington D.C.. In the same period he began his experience of Trompe L’oeil mural paintings for public and private places, undertaking activities as a freelancer using the acrylic technique. In 2002 he moved to New York where he remained for 10 years. In the Big Apple he continues to work assiduously professionally as a painter of Trompe l’Oeil and easel paintings with success. This experience was instrumental in improving his skills as a landscape designer, and also gave him the opportunity to gain visibility and recognition within the cultural and artistic industry, since the places he decorated are visited by Hollywood actors , directors and international rock stars. Back in Italy he continues to paint on canvas experimenting with various techniques including oil, acrylic, inks, soft pastels and watercolour. The most recent paintings show a peculiar technique by inks on canvas of good impact.
